Glossary

The purpose of the glossary is to help people find Icelandic translations and explanations of the various terms related to rheumatic diseases and research into them. 

The glossary is in the attached PDF document, and to search the document, it is best to press Control and f  á Personal computer or Edit and find á Massachusetts.A search box then appears, in which you can type a keyword, either in English or in Icelandic.

The glossary is based on several international glossaries on rheumatic diseases and was compiled by Sólveig Hulsdunk Georgsdóttir, with assistance from the Medical Association's terminology committee. Solveig is an anthropologist by training; she works as a translator and sits on the board of the Arthritis Association of Iceland.
